SHRI SWAPAN DHAR
Managing Director, SBI Foundation

Shri Swapan Dhar, General Manager with State Bank of India, is a seasoned
banking leader with over 35 years of rich and diverse experience spanning
rural, domestic, and international banking operations. He took charge as
Managing Director of SBI Foundation on 1 January 2026. Before this, he served
as Deputy General Manager in the Internal Audit Department, Regional Manager of
two regions, and led several high-profile branches.

As an Officer, Shri Dhar worked in diversified areas, starting from Rural
banking, gaining first-hand insight into grassroots realities and the
transformative power of financial inclusion. Over the years, he held key
assignments across the Bank, including foreign office, critical functions such
as Branch Administration, Regional Head, and Internal Audit function with SBI
Internal Audit Department, building a well-rounded perspective on governance,
operational excellence, and institutional accountability.

Shri Swapan Dhar holds a Master's degree in Commerce, a Master's degree in
Business Administration, and is a CAIIB professional. He is also a Law graduate
(LLB), reflecting his strong foundation in finance, management, and regulatory
frameworks.

His extensive professional and educational journey equips him with a unique
ability to align SBI Foundation's CSR initiatives with national priorities,
community needs, and long-term sustainability goals. Through his leadership, the
Foundation focuses on creating meaningful and measurable impact across core
areas, including education, healthcare, livelihoods, skill development,
environmental sustainability, inclusivity, and social empowerment.

Known for his calm leadership style and people-centric approach, Shri Dhar is
deeply committed to leveraging the strength, reach, and values of the State
Bank of India to drive sustainable social change and contribute meaningfully to
nation-building.

MR. PRATYUSH MEHROTRA
President & COO, SBI Foundation

Mr. Pratyush Mehrotra is a seasoned banking professional with over two decades
of rich and diverse experience across domestic and international banking
operations. He took charge on June 4, 2026 as the Chief Operating Officer and
President at SBI Foundation. Before this, Mr. Mehrotra served as the Deputy
General Manager of ESG & Climate Finance Unit of the Bank where he worked
extensively on the Bank's initiatives in the ESG and Climate Finance space
while charting out Bank's pathway to Net Zero. His major responsibilities
included capacity building and awareness creation within the Bank, formulation
of ESG / Climate related policies, facilitating development of assets and
liabilities products in the green / sustainability space, raising Green Lines of
Credit (LoCs) from Multilaterals / DFIs and deployment, engagement with policy
makers / regulators / industry bodies.

Prior to this, he was appointed as the Deputy General Manager in the
International Banking Group of the Bank. Mr. Mehrotra also held the leadership
position as Vice President (Trade Finance & Operations) at SBI Tokyo from 2011
to 2016 and Internal Audit department. Apart from these experiences, he has
worked in various capacities including, handling Corporate Credit, MSME, Export
credit, Retail, Agriculture and branch banking in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

His diverse banking experience shapes the sustainability efforts made by SBI
Foundation across nine different thematic areas including, women's empowerment,
health, education, environment and sustainability, sports, rural development,
disability and inclusion, livelihoods and skill development, and youth-centric
social empowerment.

Known for his dynamic personality and people-centric approach, Mr. Mehrotra is
committed to drive social change and contribute towards transforming lives
across India.

SHRI SUSHIL KUMAR VERMA
Chief Financial Officer & Administrator, SBI Foundation

Shri Sushil Kumar Verma assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer & Chief
Administrator at SBI Foundation on February 1, 2024. With an illustrious career
spanning over 28 years in the State Bank of India (SBI), Mr. Verma brings a
wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

Prior to his current role, Shri Verma held the position of Branch Head at the
South Extension Part II Branch in Delhi. Throughout his career, he has gained
extensive experience in various branch environments, with a significant focus
on rural and semi-urban communities. This experience has instilled in him a
deep understanding of the social and economic needs of these regions.

Shri Verma passionately believes in contributing to the well-being of others.
He is committed to leveraging his financial expertise and leadership skills to
support SBI Foundation's mission of uplifting marginalized communities and
making a positive impact on society.
